HOW IT WORKS
Each week you will receive a series of three newsletters containing an inspirational quote and a prompt, so you can pick up the pen or get your fingers typing at your own pace.
Then, just set a timer and write for 11 or 15 minutes. This work is done solo, but feel free to find another writer and invite them to do this work together.
If you read your work at the end of a session, remember to share comments only about what you liked, what you remembered, and what stayed with you. No criticism. It is best to comment on the writing in third person, not on the person who wrote the piece. “The young girl in the story was very emotional…” This keeps the focus on the writing rather than turning it into a therapy session.
